For example, by adjusting the sharpening in your photos you can either create an HDR-like effect by increasing the sharpness or create a vintage look by decreasing it. The Detail tab of Lightroom is another important toolset that allows you to optimize your photos for various effects. Then simply click on the bottom point of the tone curve tool and drag it up until you have the faded look you want. To add a faded effect to your photo, open the Tone Curve panel in the Develop tab. If you’re thinking about giving a faded look to your photos with washed-out colors, you can use a simple adjustment tool in Lightroom to create that effect within a few seconds.
